No longer need the old style of coaching: Rameez Raja
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Rameez Raja has said that the old and traditional method will no longer work, there is an urgent need to change the way players play.
The PCB chairman also hinted at dismissing the coaches of six provincial teams next season.
In a meeting with the coaches, Rameez Raja expressed serious concerns over the method of coaches and took a stand that the coaches of the six provincial teams would no longer have any role in the selection of the national team.
Rameez Raja also refrained from giving any assurance to the coaches about giving responsibility next season.
It should be noted that Basit Ali, Faisal Iqbal, Ejaz Ahmed Jr., Abdul Rehman, Shahid Anwar and Abdul Razzaq are currently the coaches along with six domestic teams.
