AJK President decides to form Friends of Kashmir in Parliament of Ireland

President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that it has been decided to form Friends of Kashmir in the Parliament of Ireland.

The decision to this effect was taken in a special meeting between AJK President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry and visiting Irish Member of the Parliament Joe Flahirty at Longford City Council in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. Lord Mayor of Collingford Pagi Nolen was also present at the meeting.

The process of establishing Friends of Kashmir in the Irish Parliament will be completed within a month. Through which the Kashmir issue will be aggressively highlighted in the Irish Parliament.

Later, the AJK President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry visited the Parliament of Ireland and gave a detailed briefing to the Irish Members of Parliament regarding the Kashmir issue, situation in Occupied Kashmir and life imprisonment for Yasin Malik.

On the occasion, the Irish MPs assured the AJK President of their full support and said that they would raise their voice against the ongoing atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and the punishment of Yasin Malik.
