Corona restrictions eased – Markets and bazaars closed only on Sundays

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Planning and Head of NCOC, to review the situation of Corona virus and strategies to deal with it. , Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Gujarat and Bannu have decided to remove additional restrictions.

 

According to the recommendations of the NCOC and the Punjab government, the working hours of the market and bazaars will be till 10 pm. Only Sunday will be a holiday. General sanctions across the country will remain in effect until September 30.

 

As per the decision of the NCOC meeting, a meeting will be held on September 28 to review the sanctions. Markets in six districts will remain open until 10 a.m. instead of 8 p.m. Local and provincial governments will decide whether or not to allow the opening of shrines. Recreation areas, parks will be allowed to open with 50% capacity. About 400 vaccinators will be allowed to attend outdoor events. Up to 200 people will be allowed to be vaccinated during the ceremony in indoor wedding halls. Indoor, outdoor dining will be allowed until 12 midnight. It has been decided to close the markets one day a week instead of two.

 

In this regard, Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Imran Sikandar Baloch said that these orders will be implemented across the province from September 23. Sunday will be a public holiday only. Indoor dining will be allowed to continue at 11:59 pm with 50% vaccinated people. Outdoor dining will also continue until 11:59 p.m. Only 200 vaccinated people will be allowed in indoor weddings. 400 people will be allowed in outdoor wedding ceremonies. All shrines will be open across the province. Only vaccinated and people over the age of 30 will be able to visit the shrine. There will be a complete ban on cinemas. 200 vaccinated people will be allowed in indoor gatherings while 400 people will be allowed in outdoor gatherings.

 

All types of contact sports festivals and social events will be banned. The gym will be for vaccinated people only. All private and government offices can have 100% staff attendance and normal working hours. All types of public transport can run with 50% passenger capacity. Offering snacks while traveling will be prohibited. Railways will be able to run with 70% riders. Recreational areas, water sports, etc. will also be able to open with 50% capacity. Extended lockdowns will continue.

 

Everyone will be banned from wearing masks. Controlled tourism will continue. Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch has said that the orders dated September 14, 2021 will not be effective after September 22.
