Iranian officials have said they will resume long-stalled talks on restoring the 2015 nuclear deal.
Negotiations to restore the 2015 nuclear deal have stalled in Iran since the new government took office in August. Iranian officials said Wednesday they would resume talks by the end of November.
In response to Iran’s announcement, the United States called on Tehran to show “goodwill” and restore the agreement as soon as possible.
A State Department spokesman said: “This window will not remain open forever. Ali Baqeri Kani, Iran’s chief negotiator, tweeted after a meeting with Enrique Mora, a nuclear negotiator and EU official.
