The world is facing a major challenge. Information manipulation, deliberately disseminated with the aim of influencing public opinion and weakening democracies, has become one of the greatest global risks.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is therefore publishing a new brochure, The Kremlin’s Information Manipulation. This material was created as a supplementary tool for the public, which in an understandable form introduces key concepts such as propaganda, deepfake, and information influence operations. It describes the main tactics of Russian propaganda and offers practical advice on how to work with information, verify its veracity, and recognize manipulative content.
“The brochure The Kremlin’s Information Manipulation is another step in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ long-term efforts to protect against the influence activities of the Russian Federation and to strengthen the resilience of Czech society against foreign information influence. I would like to ask citizens to familiarize themselves with its content. It is available for download on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” said Minister Jan Lipavský.
The material was created internally and is freely available in printed and online form. Selected parts of the brochure will also be gradually published on the official accounts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The printed version will be available in limited quantities at public events and discussions organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in schools.
