Minister Lipavský discussed with  partners in Belgrade

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jan Lipavský, undertook on 10  until  11.  October 2024 working visit to Serbia. IN  In Belgrade he met with  by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić , p  by the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, with the Speaker of the Parliament Ana Brnabić, with the Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, with  delegation of the parliamentary group of friends of ČR as  head of the EU Delegation, Emanuel Giaufret.

“The Czech Republic is among the 10 largest trading partners of Serbia, at the same time in  We present to Serbia one of the  the largest investors . ​ Today I discussed our further cooperation, which is taking shape in  transport infrastructure protection ​ ​ ​

or tourism,” said the head of Czech diplomacy.

On the meeting agenda with  partners in Belgrade were bilateral political and ​ ​ ​ ​  economic relations, integration of Serbia into the EU, internal political situation in  country and  situation in  region.

“We support the Serbian government in  her efforts to move in  accession negotiations . ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Part of the access process is also a constructive approach ​ ​ ​  dialogue on the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina. Czech diplomacy supports the process led by the European Commission together with the EU’s special representative for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue,” added Minister Lipavský.

 

The minister also visited the future Czech center in  Belgrade , which will be ceremonially opened by Prime Minister Petr Fiala during the party days . ​ ​ This will promote Czech culture and strengthen Czech-Serbian cultural relations.
