Afghan President’s Contact with US Secretary of State

KABAL : US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken says he has spoken by telephone with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
He said that the current security situation in Afghanistan was also discussed with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blankenship also said that US diplomatic and political efforts to reduce tensions have been discussed with Ashraf Ghani.
Earlier in his address to the nation, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani refrained from discussing his resignation.
He had consoled the nation by mobilizing the army.
