Afghanistan: UN special plane prevented from landing

The UN special flight to Afghanistan was stopped from landing, after which the plane returned to Islamabad.

Sources said that the UN special plane was prevented from landing in Mazar-e-Sharif. The pilot of the special plane contacted the airport authorities in Mazar-e-Sharif for landing.

Sources said that Mazar-e-Sharif airport authorities did not allow the plane to land.

Sources said that the captain brought the plane to Islamabad as it was not allowed to land in Afghanistan. Pakistani authorities allowed the UN special plane to land.
