Airlines get permission for 30% more flights.

KARACHI : The Civil Aviation Authority has allowed the airlines to operate an additional 30 per cent flights to Pakistan, the Air Transport Department has issued a notification.

According to the notification, the additional flights will also include cargo flights of the respective airlines. In case of empty planes, it will be possible for the departure of passengers arriving abroad by additional flights. The number of domestic flights was limited to 20%.

The airline’s operation was limited to 20 percent of flights from May 5 to 20. The CAA called for additional flight schedules from all airlines until May 18, citing a shortage of flights and a rush of passengers.
