Anti-state statements: Javed Latif’s judicial remand extended till June 2

LAHORE : Judicial remand of PML-N MNA Javed Latif has been extended till June 2 in the case of anti-state statements.

 

The accused Javed Latif was not produced by the jail authorities under Corona SOPs while warrants were issued in the hearing of the case against the League MNA arrested in the case of anti-state rhetoric. The court extended the judicial remand of the League MNA till June 2 and sought a challan. The Lahore local court also summoned the Township Investigation Police Station in-charge for the next hearing.

 

League leader Talal Chaudhry while talking to media said that the case against Javed Latif was registered at the request of PTI councilor.

 

Activists who came to show solidarity with the League MNA chanted slogans outside the court. Protesters burned tires and blocked the road, severely disrupting tr affic.
