I hope Pak-US cooperation will continue in future also: Qamar Bajwa

RAWALPINDI : General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Army, said that Pakistan has sincerely supported the peace process in Afghanistan and hoped that Pak-US cooperation would continue in the future as well.

According to a statement issued by Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), US Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with US Secretary of State Angela Eagler.

According to ISPR, mutual cooperation between the two countries in various fields was also discussed during the meeting. The Afghan peace process and measures against Corona were also discussed during the meeting.

During the meeting, the US Secretary of State appreciated Pakistan’s continued efforts for peace and stability in the region. He said that cooperation between the two countries would be further enhanced in the future.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that he hoped that Pak-US cooperation would continue in the future as well. Pakistan has sincerely supported Afghanistan in the peace process, prosperous, stable and peaceful Afghanistan is in the interest of the region and Pakistan in particular. ۔
