LAHORE : The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been increased across the country.

According to Chairman LPG Dealers Association Irfan Khokhar, the price of LPG has been increased by Rs 20 per kg after which the price has gone up to Rs 110 per kg. He said that the price of domestic cylinder has been increased by Rs 200 and commercial by Rs 900. Irfan Khokhar appealed to the Ministry of Petroleum to reconsider its policies. The recent increase is due to lower supply of LPG by land while prices will go up further in the next 24 hours.

He said that an emergency meeting has been convened in Lahore tomorrow in which important decisions are expected and we may also go on strike. It may be recalled that a summary of revision in prices of petroleum products has also been sent. But the decision could not be reached.
