ISLAMABAD : Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood says next year’s export target is 35 35 billion.


In his address during the Post Budget Conference in Islamabad, the Trade Adviser said that the duty on raw materials has been reduced and the focus is on IT, engineering, pharmaceuticals, mobile and fruit processing.


He said that new areas in textiles have to be shifted, reduction of duties will increase exports.


Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood wrote in a tweet that 18 tons of Pakistani Sindhri Mango arrived in China on a chartered plane, an important development in the long-standing Sino-Pakistani relations.


He further said that the exporter and the Chinese company deserve congratulations in this regard. He said that fruit exporters would have to increase their exports on priority basis.
