India has failed to break the spirit of Kashmiris, President, Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD : President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have said that India’s steps taken on August 5, 2019 have failed to break the spirit of Kashmiris and will continue to do everything possible to help the Kashmiri people achieve their right to self-determination.


In a message on the day of exploitation, Arif Alvi said that a just solution to Jammu and Kashmir was essential for lasting peace in South Asia. Kashmiris are with them in their struggle.


Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan has said in a message that he will continue to extend all possible support to the Kashmiri people to achieve their right to self-determination. Citizens in Occupied Kashmir face forced detention and other grave human rights abuses.


Imran Khan said Indian actions violated the UN Charter and Security Council resolutions. The United Nations and international human rights organizations hold India accountable.
