Taliban entered the Panjshir Valley : commander Qari Fasihuddin

The Taliban entered the Panjshir Valley, with Taliban commander Qari Fasihuddin claiming control of the residence of former Northern Alliance commander Ahmad Shah Massoud.


Taliban commander Qari Fasihuddin said he hoped there would be no fighting in Panjshir and the issue would be resolved through talks.


On the other hand, Ahmad Wali Masood, the brother of the slain Afghan leader Ahmad Shah Masood, while talking in Paris, claimed that the resistance against the Taliban is spreading all over the country, the Taliban will fail to crush the resistance.
