Pakistan Air Force cadets take over the duties of guards at Mazar-e-Quaid

A ceremony was organized by the Pakistan Air Force at the mausoleum of the Founder of Pakistan in connection with Pakistan Defense Day in Karachi.


Cadets of Pakistan Air Force Academy Asghar Khan took charge of Mazar-e-Quaid during a guard change ceremony at Mazar-e-Quaid. Pakistan Air Force Academy Asghar Khan has a total of 44 cadets. The contingent includes 4 women and 40 young men.


Special guest Air Marshal Qaiser Khan Janjua inspected the parade. The special guest laid a wreath at the shrine of Babae Qaum and offered Fateha. Air Marshal Qaiser Khan Janjua recorded his impressions in the guest books.


On the other hand, a dignified function was held at the Naval Headquarters on the occasion of Defense Day. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi was the chief guest at the event.


Officers of Pakistan Navy, Chief Petty Officers and Sailors as well as families of martyrs also attended the function. Flowers were laid at the memorial and special prayers were offered for the stability of the country and elevation of the ranks of the martyrs. In addition, the Naval Chief met the families of the martyrs and presented flowers.
