Afghanistan: Flights partially restored, first flight from Kandahar to Kabul

After partial resumption of domestic flights from Afghanistan’s Kabul International Airport, the first flight of a local airline arrived in Kabul carrying passengers from Kandahar.


After the partial resumption of flight operations from Kabul Airport, domestic flights of Ariana Airlines of Afghanistan have started.


Yesterday, the local airline started flights from Kabul to Herat in the west, Kandahar in the south and Balkh in the north.


On Sunday, Kabul Airport Station Manager Sher Shah Satoor told a foreign news agency that flights were operated without radar system at Kabul Airport, while three more flights were scheduled on Sunday.
