OCCUPIED JERUSALEM : Palestinians continue to be persecuted for defending the first qiblah. The Israelis unleashed a barrage of oppression on helpless Palestinians, rained rubber-coated bullets on worshipers, shelled, hurled bombs, and set fire to mosque carpets.
More than 300 Palestinians were injured in the attacks, many in critical condition. Despite this, the Palestinians became a wall of courage, refused to bow to Israeli atrocities, hurled stones at the occupying forces and declared the protection of the first qiblah to the last.
The ruthless Israelis did not spare the women and arrested them mercilessly. The brave Palestinian girl was handcuffed and kept smiling. Outside Al-Aqsa Mosque, a Jewish citizen drove over the Palestinians.
Hamas has threatened to attack the Israeli army if it does not withdraw from Al-Aqsa Mosque. Palestinians broke the Israeli checkpoint at the Damascus gate and entered the ancient city of Jerusalem.
The UN Secretary-General also expressed concern over Israeli atrocities, calling on Zionist forces to stop atrocities on Palestine and construction in occupied Jerusalem.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reacted strongly against the Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying that the oppressive terrorist state of Israel is brutally torturing innocent Muslims and Palestinians defending their religion and homes. But the mountains of oppression are breaking.
He made it clear that anyone who did not speak out or speak out against Israeli atrocities was an equal partner in crime and oppression. I call on the world, especially the Islamic countries, to not only speak out against the Palestinians, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Israeli atrocities in Al-Quds, but also to take immediate action.
“We must not forget that Al-Quds is the whole universe and the Muslims who live here are all humanity,” he added. The victim of oppression in Al-Quds, Turkey, stood with his Muslim brothers and sisters, stands and will stand. Turkey has taken steps to mobilize all relevant international organizations, the United Nations and especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
