Balochistan Former Finance Secretary Mushtaq Raisani sentenced to 10 years imprisonment, confiscation of property

QUETTA : Quetta accountability court sentences former Balochistan finance secretary Mushtaq Raisani to 10 years in prison in mega corruption case.
The Quetta Accountability Court has pronounced a safe verdict on mega corruption. The court also ordered confiscation of Mushtaq Raisani’s property while Khalid Lango, a former finance adviser, was sentenced to 26 months imprisonment in the case. The court said Mir Khalid Langu’s sentence began with his arrest during his trial.
It may be mentioned that NAB arrested Mushtaq Raisani from his office in Civil Secretariat Quetta on May 6, 2016 on charges of corruption. During the raid on Mushtaq Raisani’s house, Rs. 73 crore notes, Rs. Bonds, savings certificates, dolls of dollars and pounds and various property papers were found.
