President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday signed the 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill into law upon the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today following the approval of the said legislation by the parliament. The Senate today passed “The Constitution Twenty-Sixth Amendment Bill, 2024” with not less than a two-third majority. It was moved by Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar.
