Corona outbreak shrinks global economy, boosts Pakistan’s economy says Farrukh Habib

ISLAMABAD : Minister of State for Information Farrukh Habib said that the world economy had shrunk due to the Corona epidemic, but Pakistan’s economy had grown.

 

Talking to media on Saturday, he said that Pakistan’s economy is booming and we will achieve all the targets.

 

“The PML-N era was just a show-off while their progress was artificial,” he said. He added that the real growth was in fake accounts and money laundering.

 

He claimed that a deficit of Rs 1 billion has been incurred. “IT exports have increased by 44%. Pakistani currency is one of the best currencies,” he added.

 

He said that the government would also achieve all the targets of tax collection. He added, “Agriculture sector was in decline during the PML-N gove rnment.”
