Corona swallowed 44 more lives in one day, reporting 1,052 new cases

ISLAMABAD : A total of 44 people died from corona across the country. 1052 new cases were also reported during the last 24 hours.

The National Command and Operations Center says the number of active cases across the country has dropped to 32,921. There are 19,565 active cases in Sindh, 9,062 in Punjab, 1,872 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,029 in Islamabad, 165 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 793 in Balochistan and 435 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The spokesman said that 44 people were killed in Corona yesterday. The highest death toll was 24 in Sindh and 12 in Punjab. Corona tests were performed on 45,924 people in one day. Yesterday, the rate of positive cases was 2.29 percent.

NCOC officials say there are currently 267 patients on ventilators across the country. 2,262 patients are being treated in various hospitals. The total number of patients infected with corona has reached 952,907. 8 lakh 97 thousand 834 patients have recovered.
