Corona virus has killed 40 more patients across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD : In the last 24 hours, 40 more patients have died due to corona virus across Pakistan, bringing the total number of deaths from corona to 23,462. The rate of positive cases during the last 24 hours was 8.61%.

According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 56,414 tests were carried out on Corona in the last 24 hours, in which 4,858 new cases were detected, bringing the total number of Corona cases in the country to 1,039,695.

According to the NCOC, the number of corona cases in Sindh is 385,414, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 144,848, in Punjab 357,735, in Islamabad 88,093, in Balochistan 30,502 and in Azad Kashmir. 24,891 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 8,212 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

2,000 cases of Corona quarantined in 600 houses in Islamabad, smart lockdown enforced

According to the NCOC, the highest number of deaths due to corona is in Punjab where 11,067 people have lost their lives while 6,021 in Sindh, 4,468 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 803 in Islamabad, 147 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 328 in Balochistan. And 628 people have lost their lives in Azad Kashmir.
