Corona virus kills 104 more, 2,869 new cases reported

ISLAMABAD : Corona virus attacks continue across the country, 104 more Pakistani killers have fallen victim to the virus, while 2,869 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations (NCOC), the number of active cases across the country has risen to 76,536, with the total number of deaths from Corona across the country being 19,210 while the total number of victims is 867,426. So far, 771,692 people across the country have recovered from the deadly virus.
According to the NCOC, 322,117 people were affected by Corona in Punjab out of which 9,188 died and 276,800 recovered. 36,129 people are undergoing treatment in the province. A total of 294,251 people fell victim to corona in Sindh out of which 4,765 people could not survive, 271,581 people succumbed to the deadly virus while there are 17,905 active cases in the province.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 125,392 people were infected with corona, 3,668 people succumbed to the deadly virus and 112,706 people recovered. At present, 9,018 people are undergoing treatment in the province. While 67,811 people have succumbed to the virus, there are currently 10,031 corona patients in the federal capital.
In Balochistan, 23,655 people succumbed to corona, 255 died while 22,012 were recovered and 1,388 people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, corona virus was found positive in 18,056 people, 509 people lost their lives while 15,596 recovered after treatment, 1,951 are still fighting the deadly virus. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 5,407 cases came to light, 107 people died while 5,186 recovered, while 114 active cases.
