Countries do not develop by lying: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

KARACHI : PML-N leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the country does not develop by lying.

Talking to media in Karachi on Monday, he said that the Prime Minister was not aware of the situation in the country. If the economic situation had improved, inflation would not have happened.

He further said that the Prime Minister is requested to ask the advisers what was the GDP and per capita income before and what is it now.

He said that the country is governed by the rule of law and the constitution. We don’t care about cases, but has it improved the situation in the country?

Referring to Pakistan Democratic Movement, he said that there are eight parties in PDM and they are doing their job. The doors of PDM are open for all parties. He further said that the issue of PPP and ANP is over, they have paved their way, congratulations  to them.
