A twelve-member delegation from Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, and Senegal visited the headquarters of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in Islamabad. The delegation is in Pakistan to study the working models of key social protection institutions, including the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
During their visit to NADRA Headquarters, the delegation received an in-depth briefing on NADRA’s critical role as the custodian of Pakistan’s national data repository. As the organization mandated to maintain the country’s civil registry, NADRA provides a wide range of services both nationally and globally, serving as the backbone of Pakistan’s data management and identity infrastructure.
Chairman NADRA highlighted the organization’s pivotal contributions to the national social protection system. The delegation expressed keen interest in NADRA’s locally assembled products to support civil registration and social protection initiatives, particularly Pakistan’s first All-in-One Registration Kit and Mobile Enrollment Kit.
