Directors of Czech Centers will discuss the presentation of the Czech Republic abroad and public diplomacy

On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the directors of the Czech Centers will meet in Prague for their annual meeting.

The grant-making organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents Czech culture in 26 locations around the world on four continents.

The discussion will focus on how the Czech Centers will further contribute to strengthening the Czech Republic’s public diplomacy.

The meeting at the Černín Palace will be opened by the Director General of the Czech Centers, Jitka Pánek Jurková, and will be addressed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jan Lipavský.

The main topic will be the role of public diplomacy in the contemporary world in the context of security challenges and the strategic setting of the Czech Centers network.

The debate will also focus on further strengthening the presentation of the Czech Republic abroad.
