First Tour de Khyber National Cycle Race successfully concluded in Tirah Valley

The first Tour de Khyber National Cycle Race in collaboration with Culture and Tourism Authority successfully concluded in Tirah Valley.Race organized by Pakistan cycling federation &Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association was held in two stages.
The second stage of the race took place in the Tirah Valley and ended at Dawatua.
Mohsin Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Green won the first position by crossing the prescribed distance of 27 km in one hour 2 minutes and 19 seconds.
Sadiqullah of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa White finished second with a time of 1 hour 3 minutes and 44 seconds.
Farman Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Green finished third with a time of 1 hour 3 minutes and 50 seconds.
In the team position, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Green came first and Balochistan came second.In the overall results, Yousuf Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Green completed the 66 km distance of the two-day event with a time of 2 hours 6 minutes and 22 seconds and became the overall champion.
Commandant Tirah Rifle Khurram Rasheed and Project Director Tourism Integrated District Ishtiaq Khan Syed Azhar Ali Shah Moazzam khan were the special guests at the closing ceremony.The distance for the second stage race was 27 km.
During the closing ceremony, marathon races, tug-of-war, kabaddi and archery competitions were held at Bagh Markaz Ground, Tirah.The first stage of the race consisted of 39 km road from Bab Khyber to Amir Hamza Baba Shinwari Chowk.The race was organized in collaboration with Pakistan Army, FC North, Police and District Administration Khyber.52 cyclists from all over the country participated in the cycle race.Eight teams including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, KP Blue and KP White are participating in the race.
