LAHORE : Dr. Shahbaz Gul, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, said that no one can stop overseas Pakistanis from voting. We will be the voice of overseas Pakistanis.
These views were expressed by Dr Shahbaz Gul while addressing a press conference at PID office. He said that money comes to the government only from the economic movement and the country develops through the honest use of this money.
He said that after the best budget presented by the government, the opposition has become silent. The PML-N has brought the farmers to the brink of ruin while the farmers are the backbone of the national economy.
Dr. Shahbaz Gul said that the Prime Minister provided relief packages to the farmers while performing historic services and thus the growth rate increased to a record level. At present, the stabilization of Pakistan’s economy is also being appreciated by international financial institutions.
He said that those who were in vibration mode are now in silent mode, the budget came and went but the silent mode did not end. The heart of Pakistanis abroad beats for this country. They are not ready to give these Pakistanis the right to vote. Ahsan Iqbal says Pakistanis living abroad do not understand. Tell me, when he called his son from America to contest the election, did he know the situation here?
The Special Assistant said that Ahsan Iqbal should be hostile to us and do politics but should not hate overseas. The United States has given its overseas the right to vote. There is a long list of places where electronic voting has taken place, including Brazil, Australia, Italy, the UK, Spain and Costa Rica. Win or lose the election, the election will be on electronic voting, we or anyone will not have to say rigging.
