Government decides to launch Corona vaccination campaign

ISLAMABAD : The federal government has decided to launch a large-scale campaign to provide corona vaccination.

 

Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the National Command and Control Center (NCCOC) at which the government decided to launch a corona vaccination campaign.

 

Federal Minister Asad Omar says that 7 million people have been vaccinated and the target is to vaccinate 70 million people by the end of the year.

 

He said the vaccine would be given free to people above 18 years of age. “The number of corona virus cases in the country is declining rapidly. The positive case rate has reached four percent,” he  said.
