IIOJK: Occupation authorities launch crackdown operations against welfare organizations

In Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and occupation Kashmikr, authorities have launched a fresh crackdown targeting those who are associated with welfare net work including Jamaat-e-Islami.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the operations conducted by India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency and paramilitary forces focus on seizing documents and apprehending Jamaat-e-Islami individuals engaged in welfare activities, including education, healthcare and support for the disadvantaged.

The fresh crackdowns have been launched mostly in Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla, Kulgam, Islamabad, Kishtwar, and Jammu districts.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders Masarrat Aalam Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, and Nayeem Ahmad Khan, in their messages from New Delhi’s Tihar jail, condemned the crackdowns, raids, arbitrary arrests and confiscation of documents and properties in the occupied territory.

They asserted that such oppressive tactics would not deter Kashmiri people from pursuit of freedom.

APHC leaders called upon United Nations to intervene decisively, urging action to compel India to halt its atrocities, including genocide, extrajudicial killings, and gross human rights violations in the occupied territory.
