KARACHI : In Sindh, it is forbidden for citizens to leave their homes unnecessarily from 8 pm tonight. Police were instructed to stop unlicensed vehicles.

 

The Sindh government has taken stricter measures due to increasing cases of corona virus. Unnecessary ban on leaving houses after 8 pm tonight. Business hours will be from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

A meeting of Sindh Task Force was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sindh. He decided to take strict measures to increase the number of corona cases in Sindh including Karachi. Banned unnecessary movement after 8 pm tonight.

 

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah directed IG Sindh to take action against those who roamed unnecessarily. It was decided in the meeting that the lights of parks across Sindh would be switched off after sunset.

 

The Sindh Chief Minister said that if the people cooperated, the number of corona cases would be reduced in two weeks. Restrictions can be eased as cases fall.

 

Business hours across the province will be from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Departmental and supermarkets will also be closed after 6 p.m. The bakery and country shop will be open until midnight. Businesses will be completely closed on Friday and Sunday.

 

Following the government’s orders, the Karachi police chief ordered strict implementation of the lockdown. He directed the police to set up police barricades and pickets on the main highways of the city and stop the unauthorized people from coming out at the checkpoints after 8 pm.

 

The police chief said that full action should be taken against the shops which would open after six o’clock. No leniency should be given to those violating SOPs.
