ISLAMABAD : Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen has said that PSDP has been increased in the budget. Give incentives to industry and agriculture.

 

“Our challenge is to stabilize growth,” Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen told a post-budget press conference. Sustainable growth rate is expected to reach 20% in 8 to 10 years. The poor in the country have not received loans or training for 70 years. We should not do politics with the poor. The finance minister also outlined a program to end hoarding.

 

The government has announced no tax on mobile calls, SMS and mobile data. The Finance Minister said that the Prime Minister and the Cabinet did not approve the increase in the rates of phone calls, SMS and internet. The finance minister did not impose more taxes on the taxpayers. Those who are not paying will be brought into the tax net. The target is to bring all major stores into the sales tax net. Consumers can buy anything, get a slip and get a reward of up to Rs 250 million.

 

He said that he would give a loan of up to Rs. 2 million for his roof. 99% have recovered from small borrowers. Health cards will be distributed across the country for health facilities. An interest-free loan of Rs 500,000 will be given to a family member in urban areas.
