Meeting chaired by the Prime Minister on the promotion of higher education

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that higher education in modern sciences is key to highlight the talents of the youth, therefore the government is paying full attention to this aspect.

Presiding over a review meeting on the promotion of higher education in the country, he said that the federal government would provide all possible assistance for the promotion of higher education.

The meeting was apprised of the progress on the establishment of Sialkot Engineering University. The meeting was informed that ECNEC has already approved the project worth Rs 16.69 billion. Sialkot Engineering University will be set up jointly by the Federation and the Punjab Government for which half of the money and land will be provided by the Punjab Government. And a new curriculum for these parties will be launched soon.
