Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský will ceremonially inaugurate the new Diplomatic Academy of the MFA (hereinafter DA MFA) on Thursday, November 7 at 1 p.m. Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Markéta Pekarová Adamová and Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dana Kovaříková will also make short speeches at the event.
DA MFA now functions as a new contribution organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It continues the tradition of diplomatic education, which has existed and developed in various forms over the past 27 years.
With its activity, the new Academy wants to contribute to to the high quality of the Czech foreign service, to help a greater representation of Czech citizens in EU institutions and international organizations, develop international cooperation in in the field of diplomatic education and to expand its services beyond the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
