Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar reached Kabul
The head of the Afghan Taliban’s political office in Qatar, Deputy Amir Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, has arrived in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
Afghan Taliban sources say Taliban leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar will begin consultations on government formation today.
Afghan Taliban sources also said that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar would hold meetings with Afghan political leaders in Kabul.
It should be noted that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, co-founder of the Taliban and head of the team negotiating with the United States, arrived in Kandahar a few days ago after 20 years, where according to media reports, he was given a warm welcome.
