Mullah Hebatullah is in Afghanistan, Taliban

Sources close to the Taliban have claimed that Supreme Leader Mullah Hebatullah is in Afghanistan.

Talking to a British broadcaster, sources close to the Taliban said that Mullah Hebatullah was alive.

According to the news agency, Mullah Hebatullah never presented himself to the public and his whereabouts remained mostly unknown, but now there are reports that he is still in Afghanistan.

Earlier, a Taliban spokesman said that Taliban leader Mullah Hebatullah would be released soon.

It should be noted that Hebatullah Akhundzada was appointed Taliban leader in 2016 when only one picture of him has come to light so far.
