Pakistan and China open a joint border at Khanjrab

ISLAMABAD : Pakistan and China open a joint border at Khanjrab. The China Division of the Foreign Ministry issued the letter.

 

The Chinese embassy informed the Foreign Ministry about the reopening of the border. That said, strict adherence to the Corona Code of Conduct for the use of borders should be ensured.

 

According to spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry, after the decision to open the border with China, Pakistan also allowed the opening of its borders with China.

 

The Foreign Ministry also formally informed the Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan in the letter.

 

A Foreign Office spokesman said the opening of the border was aimed at facilitating trade in goods. The public will still not be allowed to use the borders.
