Pakistan and Egypt’s first air exercise “Sky Guard” 2021 begins

RAWALPINDI : The first air exercise between Pakistan and Egypt “Sky Guard” 2021 has started. The opening ceremony took place in Cairo.
According to ISPR, the inaugural ceremony of Pakistan-Egypt joint air defense training exercise “Sky Guard One” was held in Cairo, Egypt. The two-week exercise will exchange emerging air defense threats and mutual military cooperation and experiences.
The exercises will include decision-making, information gathering and interconnection exercises. Pakistan and Egypt Air Defense Forces will also exchange operational drills during the exercises.
According to ISPR, this is the first training exercise of its kind between Pakistan and Egypt. The inaugural ceremony was attended by senior officials including Pakistani DG Joint Staff Lt. Gen. Chirag Haider and Egyptian Chief of Air Defense Lt. Gen. Muhammad Hogze.
