MIANWALI : Pakistan cricket team head coach Misbah-ul-Haq saw 47 springs of life. Under Misbah-ul-Haq’s leadership, the Pakistani team became number one in the Tests.

Misbah-ul-Haq was born on May 28, 1974 in Mianwali. Misbah-ul-Haq made his Test debut for Pakistan in 2001 and his ODI debut in 2002. At the beginning of his career, he was out in the team, but in 2007 Misbah-ul-Haq made a comeback in the team and in 2010 he was appointed as the captain of the national team.

Misbah-ul-Haq has the distinction of scoring the fastest century off 56 balls in Tests for Pakistan. Under Misbah’s leadership, Pakistan won the 2012 Asia Cup title.

Misbah-ul-Haq is considered to be the most successful captain of Pakistan. Under Misbah’s leadership, the national team became number one in Tests. Misbah-ul-Haq led the national team in 56 Test matches and won 26 matches.

In 2017, Pakistan, led by Misbah-ul-Haq, won its first Test series on home soil against the West Indies. Misbah-ul-Haq has scored 5,222 runs in 75 Tests, 5,122 runs in 162 ODIs and 788 runs in 39 T20s.
