Hunza Valley is a hidden gem of Pakistan, located in the Gilgit Baltistan province. It is a secluded valley, sitting between the Himalayas and the Karakoram mountain ranges. This fertile valley has agricultural land that has always been a great tourist attraction. It has breathtaking views and is home to warm, hospitable people.

In the mountains of Hunza, there is a sense of tranquility and seclusion. The raw and rugged mountains make you feel like you are in paradise. This is a must-visit for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Swat Valley is famous not only for its breathtaking landscape but also for luscious natural wildlife. It has luscious forests, high peak mountains, and beautiful lakes.

Tourists can go hiking, trekking, camping, zip-lining, or just spend time relaxing in nature. In the winters, tourists can enjoy skiing, ice-skating, sledding, ice hockey, snowboarding, and speed skating.

 

Naran and Kaghan are incredible tourist locations located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. These valleys are the perfect spot for nature lovers. They offer flowing rivers, miles of meadows, snowy mountains, and breathtaking lakes.

The valleys are some of the most visited tourist spots in the country. This region is abundant in natural beauty. The crystal waters of the rivers, the green grass of the meadows, and the snow-capped peaks of the mountains define it.

Tourists can enjoy beautiful lakes such as Lake Saiful Malook, Lulusar Lake, Aansoo Lake (Tear Lake), and Dutipatsar Lake. This valley attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world every year. It is a prime destination to visit during the summer, preferably from May until September.

Shogran is a small hill station in the Kaghan region. It is filled with luxury hotels and motels, and it is a similar pot for family vacations. Similarly, to the Naran Kaghan region, Shogran is filled with tourists in the summer.

One of the main attractions of Shogran is the Siri Payee meadow. Tourists can enjoy hiking, trekking, and mountain climbing in the region. The area is also commonly home to music festivals and concerts. A wholesome area can provide joy and everlasting memories for families, adventure seekers, and music enthusiasts alike.

Skardu is a scenic valley and the capital of the Baltistan region. It is filled with rugged natural beauty, fresh spring water, blue lakes, and the Rocky Mountains.

The valley also plays host to a main urban center that holds significant strategic importance, as Skardu connects Pakistan with China, Afghanistan, and India.

It is the main attraction for thousands of trekkers each year. The region reaches an elevation of 2,286 meters, lying behind the peaks of the great Karakoram mountain range. Tourists can enjoy the hospitality of the Balti people, eat amazing authentic food, and enjoy the scenic views courtesy of affordable hotels and inns.

Chitral is a small cozy town nesting beneath the mighty Hindu Kush Mountains. A tough, warm, and hospitable community inhabit it. Within a two-hour drive from Chitral, you will reach Kalash, a UNESCO heritage site with a thousand-year-old culture. The Kalasha are approximately five thousand people, who to this day still live as they did many centuries ago.

Every year tourists visit to witness and be enlightened by their traditions and culture. The women dress in traditional garb with a ssmall-cap and the garb is black with colorful embroidery, made by the uniquely talented women of Kalash. Men and women come together and dance at every festival.

These people tend to their goats, worship their gods as a community, and work on their crops throughout the year. This is one of the unique places in Pakistan that gives a glimpse into the lifestyle of an ancient culture.

 

Neelum valley is located in Azad Kashmir near the capital Muzaffarabad. Neelum Valley literally translates to Blue Gem valley.

It is one of the most beautiful places in Azad Kashmir. It is home to freshwater streams, crystal-clear rivers, and beautiful forests. Like the rest of Pakistan, the people of Kashmir are very hospitable and warm to their guests.

You can find lodgings at very cheap rates in Neelum. Usually crowded in the summers, one should visit the area between September and October for a quiet tranquil experience.
