Pakistan Medical Association expresses concern over easing of sanctions on Corona

ISLAMABAD : The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has expressed concern over the decision of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) to ease restrictions on corona, saying that the number of beds in Karachi hospitals is declining.
The situation in Karachi is deteriorating, Sindh government should review the situation and decide to lift sanctions.
A statement issued by the PMA said that patients were not being accommodated in hospitals, adding that the decision to ease restrictions had been taken in a hurry, which could lead to further increase in Corona cases in the country. The number is increasing. Even before the third wave of Corona, the PMA had warned not to relax the sanctions. The situation of Corona in Sindh, especially in Karachi, is deteriorating.
The PMA warned that the Sindh government is closely monitoring the situation. The PMA always advises to implement a uniform policy in consultation with the provinces and all parties
