Pakistani-born woman sets world record by donating hair
Zahab Kamal Khan, a Pakistani-born woman from Virginia, set a unique world record.
According to foreign media reports, the 30-year-old woman with the longest hair in Virginia cut her hair after 17 years and donated 6 feet 3 inches of hair.
Zahab Kamal Khan donated 6 feet 3 inches of hair and got his name registered in the Guinness Book of World Records.
According to media reports, Pakistani professional squash player Zahab Kamal Khan said that his father had advised him at the age of 13 to stop cutting his hair and try to set a world record.
The Pakistani-born woman wrote in her Instagram post, “An idea from my father changed my life. Our 18-year-old dream has finally come true. Today I am a Guinness World Record holder.”
Zahab Kamal says that before donating hair, he talked to the Guinness World Records administration and informed them of his intention to donate hair because such long hair had never been donated by anyone before.
