PCB announces central contracts for women players

LAHORE : The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the central contracts of women players for 221 and 22.

Twelve women cricketers have been added to the Central Contract list, with a 10 per cent increase in the monthly stipend for all categories.

Javeria Khan and Bismillah Maroof were retained in A category while Nada Dar was promoted in B category.

PCB Women’s Cricketer of the Year, Fatima Sana got a place in Category C, Kainat Imtiaz and Nashra Sindhu also became a part of Category C.

The number of women cricketers getting central contracts this year has been increased from nine to 12. All players’ contracts will take effect on July 1.

According to PCB officials, all the players have been given contracts keeping in view their one-year performance in international and domestic cricket.
