Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights to Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, will not operate today.
According to a PIA spokesperson, Kabul Airport does not have the necessary facilities for commercial flights.
A PIA spokesman said it had temporarily suspended its flights to Kabul due to lack of arrangements.
It should be noted that inadequate facilities at Kabul airport and garbage on the runway is becoming a major obstacle in the flight operation, there is no cleaning staff at the airport.
The national airline’s Kabul flights were also not operated yesterday, while on Friday, two PIA flights carrying 390 passengers arrived in Islamabad from Kabul, including people from 10 different countries, including Pakistanis.
The head of Afghanistan Civil Aviation also arrived in Pakistan on a PIA flight on Friday.
