‘Positive results of water storage, groundwater level in Lahore stopped declining’

ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the policy of water storage in Lahore is beginning to show positive results.
In his Twitter message, PM Imran Khan said that the Punjab government had stopped the groundwater level in Lahore from declining, worked on targets for water storage and adopted the best policy.

He said that for the first time since 1980, the water level had been stopped from falling, adding that the Punjab government’s policy included recycling, new aqua fire charges and rainwater harvesting.
