Power outage in Karachi, most parts of the city without electricity

KARACHI : High power lines tripped in Karachi. The closure of 45 grid stations left most of the city without electricity.
The power outages include New Karachi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Sir Syed Town, Nagan Chowrangi and Surjani. Power supply to FB Area, North Nazimabad, Federal B Area, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Manzoor Colony has also been suspended.
According to the Ministry of Energy, NKI made one and two line trips. NTDC and K are engaged in electric rehabilitation.
