PP-84 ELECTION : Counting of votes continues, PML-N candidate in the lead
Counting of votes is underway in PP-84 by-election. According to unofficial and uncomplete results, the PML-N candidate still has the upper hand over the others.
Moazzam Sher from PML-N and Ali Hasnain from PTI have entered the fray.
According to the unconfirmed results of 37 polling stations, PML-N’s Malik Moazzam Sher Klu is leading with 9,576 votes while PTI’s Ali Hussain Khan is trailing with 7,869 votes.
During the by-elections, 2,880 police personnel and 600 Rangers were deployed to provide security.
229 polling stations were set up in the constituency out of which 14 were declared sensitive. The total number of voters in the constituency is 292,687. It may be recalled that this seat was vacated due to the death of N-League heir Klu.

On the other hand, the PTI workers stopped the PML-N worker from casting his vote at the Jamali Baloch polling station by accusing him of casting a wrong vote. Polling stopped.
The DSP Investigation took control of the situation and resumed polling 15 minutes later. Similarly, bitter words were exchanged between PTI and PML-N workers at Roda polling station but polling continued.
