Prime Minister Imran Khan returns homeland after a successful visit to Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD : The Prime Minister returned home after a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia. During the visit, Imran Khan met with the Saudi leadership.
During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Imran Khan accompanied the delegation on Umrah and performed Nawafil at Baitullah. The doors of the Kaaba were specially opened for the Prime Minister where he offered Nawafil and prayed for the security and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah as well as the country. The doors of Baitullah were opened and a special visit was made to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Earlier on Saturday, while staying at Masjid-e-Nabawi, the Prime Minister had the privilege of visiting the Holy Shrine of the Holy Prophet, also known as Al-Hijrat-un-Nabawiyat-ul-Sharifa
Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to a statement issued in this regard, the growing incidence of Islamophobia was discussed in the meeting. The Prime Minister called for a concrete response from the OIC against Islamophobia. The unanimous resolution was passed after the Prime Minister’s letter to the heads of state of Muslim countries. Muslim leaders must make a collective effort in this regard.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the world needs to be told about the love and devotion of Muslims towards the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and no one should be allowed to make any connection between Islam and terrorism. The international community must work for a common solution against incitement to violence based on intolerance, religion or belief.
The OIC Secretary General briefed the Prime Minister on the activities of the organization on the Kashmir issue. The OIC Secretary General said that the OIC has always supported the cause of Kashmir at the OIC conference in Niami. A comprehensive resolution was passed on the Kashmir issue.
Besides, Imam of Kaaba Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais also met Prime Minister Imran Khan in which a delegation of other Imams of Masjid-ul-Haram was also present. The Prime Minister paid tribute to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for providing state-of-the-art facilities for Hajj pilgrims and commended the implementation of SOPs during Corona.
The Prime Minister expressed his love and devotion to the Holy Mosque and the Holy Shrine of the Holy Prophet for the people of Pakistan. The Prime Minister hoped that the current situation in Corona would return to normal soon. The Prime Minister requested the Imam of the Kaaba to offer special prayers for the development and welfare of Pakistan while the Imam of the Kaaba appreciated the steps taken by the Prime Minister against Islamophobia.
The Imam of the Kaaba praised the Prime Minister’s efforts to promote interfaith and congratulated him on his successful visit. The joint declaration of visit was also supported by the Imam of the Kaaba and the delegation and it was said that prayers are offered for the success of the steps taken by Pakistan and the Prime Minister.
The Secretary General of the Muslim World League also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Mecca in which the Prime Minister called for a joint strategy against Islamophobia.
