ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Imran Khan called on the governments of the world to take steps against hatred and extremism.
In an interview with the World Broadcasting Corporation, Prime Minister Imran Khan called on governments to take action against hatred and extremism in the wake of the Ontario incident. He called on world leaders to take action against online hatred and extremism. Action should also be taken against hate websites.
The prime minister said he had raised the issue with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Justin Trudeau understands measures against Islamophobia and hate speech. He added that world leaders would deal with it whenever they thought of taking action. Western leaders do not understand this.
In an interview to the International Broadcasting Corporation, Prime Minister Imran Khan also said that as a human being, you have freedom, but your actions did not hurt anyone else.
